I’m converting all elemental damage taken into Fire and Chaos. Tempered by War converts 50% of Cold and Lightning to Fire, and the Purity of Fire Watcher’s Eye adds another 15%. The remaining 35% gets converted into Chaos: 25% Ele → Chaos from Incandescent Heart 10% Ele → Chaos from the Bound by Destiny jewel Because I run CI, all that Chaos damage is negated, effectively giving me 35% less elemental damage taken. To enable Bound by Destiny you need 4 Hunter-influenced items. The quiver is already Hunter influenced, so the challenge was fitting the other three. I solved that by crafting a brand-new Hunter ring specifically for this setup. Once everything is assembled, your maximum elemental hit skyrockets, especially when paired with Arctic Armour’s less fire damage taken and Spell Suppression. The build also gains exceptionally strong penetration mitigation. For context: this character needs to tank ~50 Uber Shaper balls to the face before going down. Volatiles in T17 maps might as well not exist, and most elemental spell hits simply don’t register for this build. And as bonus, the build becomes almost completely Altar-agnostic — the only Eldritch altar mod you want to avoid is minus fire resistance on exarch altars, which you could build for tbh. Everything else is totally free. This is easily my tankiest Bama build yet, while still hitting damage numbers comparable to previous leagues. For even more tankiness, consider using a Darkscorn bow. ------------------------------------------------ ► How to craft the Ring: We want to craft the three prefixes first: Minion Damage, % Energy Shield, and flat Energy Shield. Start by buying Hunter- and Crusader-influenced Bone Rings (ilvl 82). Use an Awakener’s Orb to combine them into double-influenced Bone Rings — you’ll need at least four of these. Next, begin Alteration spamming each one. Your goal is to hit a single desirable prefix on each double-influenced ring, giving you the four clean prefix bases needed for the recombination process. Recomb step 1: Bone Ring 1: % Minion Damage + Bone Ring 2: % ES (Crusader) Bone Ring 3: % ES (Crusader) + Bone Ring 4: flat ES Recomb step 2: Bone Ring A: % Minion Damage % ES (Crusader) Crafted Suffix (int) + Bone Ring B: % ES (Crusader) flat ES Crafted Suffix (int) Once you successfully recombine a 3-prefix Bone Ring with all the desired prefix mods, lock the prefixes using “Prefixes Cannot Be Changed” and then Reforge Speed. Reapeat until you hit Minion Attack Speed. Keep in mind that this can fill your suffixes and potentially brick the ring, so if you want to reduce the risk, be willing to settle for T2–T3 Minion Attack Speed instead of chasing T1. After you hit Minion Attack Speed, lock the prefixes again and use a Veiled Exalted Orb for the 50/50 gamble. If you miss, simply Reforge Speed again and repeat. If you land the 50/50, block the Focus Shock mod and unveil. From the unveil, you’re looking for Attributes or +1 to Maximum Endurance Charges. This ring is best crafted early in the league, when Awakener’s Orbs are still cheap. I made mine when they were around 50–60c each. I also got pretty lucky with the Reforge and Veiled Exalt steps, so my total cost ended up being under ~20 divines. It could easily take 100+ divs. The process can be very volatile. Luckily we need only one thanks to Kalandras Touch. ------------------------------------------------
