Shea Gunkel's Radiation Baetis has been a top producer for many of us over the last 10 years. It's a great searching pattern as well as a great nymph when bigger mayflies are in the system. The original was tied in pink as shown in the video but there are endless color combinations for this pattern. One of my favorite colors is the copper bead with peacock black ice dub. It's perfect as a dropper in a dry dropper set-up or as an attractor in a nymph rig. The smaller sizes are wonderful for small mayfly nymphs. Make sure you have a few in your fly box.
