Tamaki Hidetsugu / LINE ■ Session Overview In the development of LINE Android, we adopted a development style that made use of Feature Flag. This style merges code into the main branch, even for features that are still under development. However, those features under development become exposed externally without any guard logic. As such, we used Feature Flag as a flag to check whether those features are enabled or disabled, and so to prevent this exposure. In this session, I will talk about how we were able to use Feature Flag effectively in the development process, as well as about the types of problems that arose when it was not applied.
