This video highlights the intense and awesome lightning storm from near the Abilene, KS area as the storms moved through. Shot List: 1-2. Normal and half speed of a car driving by as lightning strikes giving the appearance that the car was struck. 3-5. Intense cloud to ground lightning strike at normal, half, and 25% speed. 6-8. An incredible bolt of cloud to ground lightning at normal, half, and quarter speed shots. 9. A bolt of lightning flashes behind the rain momentarily turning the sky purple. 10-11. A large bolt of lighting flashes over a field as cars drive along the road. Normal and half speeds. 12-13. Shots from inside the vehicle on a super wide angle lens that show incredible lightning flashes. 14-15. An awesome lightning bolt that started in cloud and ends up flashing brightly as a cloud to ground bolt. 16. POV driving shot as I approached the storm on a Kansas backroad, a bolt of lightning stikes out of the clouds. 17. Wide angle shot from inside car of a lightning strike. 18-19. Cars and trucks driving down I-70 just outside of Abilene, KS. 20-21. Two shots, the second zoomed in slightly more, of traffic driving eastbound on I-70 as the storm began to dump heavy rains. 22. A POV shot of the driving conditions with a car in front of mine driving in the heavy rain as the storm moved along I-70. 23. Drivers flee the approaching heavy rains of the storms.
