I give you full permission to clear away every influence drawing me away from your presence. In you, I have everything I really need. Remove all my justifications for relying on anything other than you. Lord, you promised peace. Not the false and temporary peace marijuana brings but a peace which provides clarity, focus, purpose, and passion. Your peace is the foundation for my solid future. Lord, you promised to be my comfort, shield and resting place. Unlike weed, you won’t give me a false sense of security. Your spirit guides me away from darkness, deception, and destruction. Uproot my apathy which craves the easy way out. I trust you with my worries, problems, and struggle. You promised to make a way when there is none.
