(3 Nov 1995) English/Nat US President Bill Clinton has dedicated a memorial to the 270 victims of the 1988 Lockerbie air disaster in Scotland.. At a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, the President pledged he would not give up the fight to bring to justice those responsible for the mid-air explosion. The cairn unveiled on Friday comprises 270 stones, one for each person killed in the disaster. SOUNDBITE: " Let us take this cairn as a sign of our bond with the victims of Pan Am 103 to remember the light they brought into so many lives, to work to bring justice down on those who committed the murders, to keep our own people safe and to rid the world of terrorism and never to forget until this job is done.
