Birmingham City got back to winning ways in the EFL Championship with a well deserved 1-0 victory against struggling Queens Park Rangers at St. Andrews@KnightheadPark. The first half was one way traffic with the Blues dominating the half and although they went into the break 1-0 up with an early goal from Patrick Roberts, the scoreline should have been wider. The R’s did improve in the second half however apart from a few half chances never really troubled James Beadle in the Birmingham goal and eventually fell to a fourth defeat in a row having failed to score in any of the last four games. The win moves the Blues up to 10th in the Championship table.
