Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington DC in a long-awaited in-person meeting between the pair. Trump and Albanese signed a critical minerals deal in the Cabinet Room in the West Wing with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and other senior US defence officials. The pair also spoke on the AUKUS defence agreement, tariffs and China during the bilateral talks.
