An electrified upgrade to the somewhat elderly Schwinn Shuffle Kick Bike. A 48v 1000w motor paired with a 13Ah battery pack let’s me cruise at 30-33 mph (where legal) up to about 25-30 miles. I usually stick around 23-27 mph to get the best range. I only needed a drill with some bits, zip ties, a sheet of aluminum for the under tray, and some duct tape to make this. It could be made just the same with more or even less tools. Also, a lot of these eBay and Amazon kits go on sale, so keep an eye out for a good deal. Have fun!
