7:47 when I finally actually get into it - for those who are already in the know about the Boxer Ceiling or you just strongly dislike how I waffle on. I'm a bit sheepish to post this since I feel like I'm """heterosplaining""" (I made up that word lol) the gay's experiences/history - so please, if you're homosexual and think I haven't explained something right, comment below your corrections and any additions. 😓 And yes, I firmly believe that if you have internalized homophobia, you're going to be harmful toward other homosexuals, and if these people believe they're gay men trapped in women's bodies, they're being homophobic, despite their beliefs: it's very obvious they think that, if they're gay men, they can talk smack about "other" gay men and it be okay. It's not okay and it's never okay. Also, at the end, I explain that a lot of these folks are self-proclaimed autistic, but many of them are also under the age of 20, so the ignorance of youth has a lot to do with it, as well as negligent parents. This doesn't excuse their behavior, obviously. There is ZERO excuse to be homophobic/anti-gay and no amount of "lol JK/HJ" is going to pardon the slurs and call for harm. I'm just trying to say that, if you're going to confront someone like this, have this in mind so you are better equipped to deal with them (not that I'm saying you should contact these people I've featured in this video and harass them. Civilized debate is okay). I took on this subject because it's something I don't see a lot of people talking about, that there's a denial attached to it, saying this part of the trans community DOESN'T SERIOUSLY mean these things or that it simply isn't happening.
