The Triumph Speed 400 has us all blown away with its fantastic styling and proper resemblance to the bigger Speed Twins. At ₹2.33 lakh (ex-showroom), the Speed 400 offers phenomenal value for money. It rides and feels like a Triumph just as much as it looks like one. At the introductory price, it’s even more affordable than a Bajaj Dominar 400 as well. The Speed 400 has a 398.15cc 4-valve DOHC liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that puts out a respectable 39.5bhp and 37.5Nm. While its 6-speed gearbox doesn't have a quickshifter, the slipper clutch makes it all the easy to ride. The India-spec tuning on the suspension is quite good, and inspires confidence. If only the same could be said for riding in the rain with the MRF tyres it comes with. However, it also comes with Apollo tyres, which help you make the most use of the bike’s well-developed chassis, regardless of the weather. Here's Karan Ramgopal's first ride review of the Triumph Speed 400, where he tells you if you should buy one. #evoIndia Want more #ThrillOfDriving videos?
