Our annual fundraising gala reintroduces audiences to the #NRBLibraries we are working to restore and showcases the past, present and future of these spaces. The goal is to raise funds and secure partnerships needed for this groundbreaking work. The 2019 gala brought glamour and the magic of storytelling to the iconic McMillan Memorial Library, located in the heart of Nairobi, with audiences and givers playing a part in creating truly inclusive public spaces! The 2019 edition, held on 11th December, brought together 150 guests for a night of magic at the library in support of our overall restoration work, raising KES 3.5M through ticket sales, raffle prizes and donations!
