Not just ‘I’m being a bit experimental over here with my 303’ but: Pose a question Create a jam that answers that question. Example questions could include: “What if I…” made a field recording of my high street and only used that as source material for the jam – processing and layering the sounds? created sources of random MIDI notes and send them to different synths?, (e.g. BounceBud or Autony on iPad) made a short jam and then recorded the sound of the room playing the jam and then recorded the sound of the room playing the sound of the room playing the jam…. ? (e.g. Alvin Lucier, “I am sitting in a room”) created loopers that switched on and off randomly? Important note – voting points will be deducted if you just do your usual stuff and claim there’s an experiment of some sort. We want genuine experiments here!
