Driving in Italy: Autostrada del Sole A1 VAR E35 from Bologna (South) to Florence (North, Barberino)

#AutostradadelSole #DrivinginItaly #A1VAR Welcome back to the Italian Autostrada. In this video you can drive along on the A1 direction South from Bologna. It's quite a scenic stretch of Autostrada that splits into the original route A1 (Panoramica) and the newer (shorter) A1 Variante di Valico (A1 VAR). In this video you drive along on the A1 VAR until both routes join again and continue as the original A1. The newer A1 VAR is the preferred route for most because it's much faster, but therefore also heavy on truck trafffic. In total in this video there are 19 tunnels, I accelerated the footage in some of the longer ones.
