Years have passed since what has become but a dream in Sarah’s memory, yet she still wonders… “Was it all just an illusion?” After her father and stepmother’s death in a car accident she is the only family her brother Toby has. Life has not been easy. Toby has been acting strange, as in a constant state of fear and in her nightmares she feels caught by the strings of a mysterious dark puppeteer which controls her, like a spider toys with its prey using silky web. Suddenly a luminous white owl appears and frees her. She wakes up scared but is too proud to pull the sheets above her head, so quietly she lays and waits for sleep. The Dreamworld... Mankind has forgotten about the Dreamworld and its infinite marvels. Through it a good and wise ruler can guide men to greatness and to achieve wonders. In the other hand, if an evil ruler seize its unimaginable power, humanity would forever be enslaved. Eons ago Demon King Ludo waged a war against the Light for the hearts and souls of mankind. But humans would not face certain doom for Jareth, the goblin king, chosen general of the Light would lead a fierce resistance against Ludo. The war in the Dreamworld lasted ages and with the absence of guidance the human world fell into darkness… The war was won by the Light; Demon King Ludo was imprisoned in a colossal labyrinth, to be forever forgotten and Jareth was crowned king of the Dreamworld where his efforts envisioned the enlightment of men. Every act is a fruit of choice... Although she didn’t know, Sarah was special. Few among all of mankind are able to lead, to represent it in the most difficult choices, those for good or evil. Years ago when she asked the Goblin King to take her brother away Jareth tested her to see what she would be capable of for the love of her little brother. She passed the test but in her rebellious nature chose not to rule by Jareth’s side, depriving humanity of the direct influence of the Light, and even worse… releasing the shackles of an ancient evil. The Demon King is set free... Ludo proceeds to usurp the throne with false promises of power to the goblins, that always envied humankind; from servants they would now be rulers. Powerless and narrowly escaping destruction Jareth flees to the human world. A new game against time begins... Ludo orders the kidnapping of Toby for sinister reasons… What would she sacrifice to keep her freedom? Can Sarah undo wrong decisions of the past to save the future?
