"The Nearness of You" features Detroit vocalist Chelly K as 'Ella Fitzgerald'. Chelly K is the daughter of Joseph Norris a Motown Engineer and personal Engineer for the Temptations. Her father groomed her to play the piano, flute and trained her in five part harmony. She attributes who she is today to her father. Chelly K is accompanied by Gerard Gibbs, keys; and Terrance Neal, drums. The bass player is not being slighted I just didn't know his name at the time of this production.
