For independent candidate Chris Daggett, the final days of his campaign for New Jersey governor are all about asking voters to take a leap of faith. He's asking all the New Jersey voters who are fed up with Democrats and Republicans to take a chance on an independent who has managed to raise enough cash to qualify for public funds and a place in the debates and garner some 13 percent of likely voters in a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday. In the same poll, Gov. Jon Corzine pulled ahead of Republican challenger Chris Christie with 43 percent of the vote, as opposed to Christie's 38 percent.
