Originally pushing acid house and hardcore on 100.4 FM (later 101 FM, 101.25 FM, and 97.8 FM), the station evolved with the underground — riding the wave from hardcore to jungle and then into drum & bass. Cyndicut’s roster was packed with talent, featuring names like Andy C, DJ Vibes, Magistrate, Embee, MATT, Just Jones, Philly K, Jess, Red One, Sphinx, TJ, DJ Destruction, Muss, Hashbrown, Hologram, Tag, Rhythm, and DJ DAZ aka Splash / Undercover Agent of Splash and Juice Records — plus countless other DJs & MCs who shaped the UK rave sound.
