Silent Hill is one of the oldest survival horror franchises out there, and it spans from the 1990s, when the PS1 was the ultimate console, all the way to this very day in 2025. Over the course of decades, the franchise was handled by multiple studios and developers from different countries in both Japan and the West, leading to the release of various games that bear the same name and concept but still have their unique style that makes each one distinct. The last entry in the series is Silent Hill f, and it was released recently in September 2025, 3 years after it was revealed in 2022.
