I made a jacket in the most beautiful city in the world 🇮🇹

Florence Jacket Video (Off-Grid Sewing Series – Chapter 3/3) In this video, we’re in Florence — one of my favourite cities in the world — and I attempt to sew a full garment from scratch, completely off-grid again. Using only a portable setup, I sourced every single piece of fabric, lining, hardware, and thread from the streets of Florence and tried to build a piece that feels like it belongs to the city. I based this jacket on the colours of the city — the terracotta rooftops, the yellow stone buildings, and a crazy painting of Dante’s Inferno by Federico Zuccari that I found tucked away in the Uffizi. The entire jacket was sewn across multiple spots in the city, including a cemetery bench overlooking Florence at sunset, and ended with a full shoot inside a locked chapel (long story). This is the final chapter in this 3-part series travelling through Italy — Naples, Rome, and now Florence — sewing one-of-one garments on the move. I hope you’ve enjoyed the ride.
