It's finally done!!! Long story short I started working on a cover of this a little over a year ago when I played OMORI. Had some instrumental issues, technical issues (both then and during this new version of the cover), but it's finally done, I am free. Before I ran into all the problems I was going to go all out for the video, just make a full Omori fan animation, but after things going wrong so many times I decided to keep things more simple and instead decided to reference the title screen of the game with Solaria in Omori's place. I also threw in some emotions to try to match certain parts of the song~ In total I drew 39 frames, for 13 pictures. They aren't the best but, it definitely helped get me back into the swing of things in terms of drawing (hopefully). (Here's the long version of the story) I was originally going to do it with Rin and Len, got all the tuning done, managed to make their English and Japanese actually sound like they were being sung with the same voice banks (which took forever), but then ran into a snag when it came to the instrumental. They all had the original backing vocals. This might not be a problem for some people, but for me, with the way I tune VOCALOIDs, they sound more robotic than realistic, so having a human sing in the back makes things sound really awkward. I tried to use the original version of Eleanor since I could make her sound realistic without too much hassle, but at that point her new Lite bank had been released and the original version of SynthV no longer worked. Soon after that I had computer issues, got a new computer, but never got around to redownloading any of my music programs until last month when Solaria dropped. Then after I did my tuning for the song, I realized that, even though I was using a midi made from my original attempt, the timing was off in a bunch of places for some reason. After I spent several hours fixing that, even though I hit save several times, NONE of my changes actually saved. I eventually redid everything and got it to actually save, and here we are! +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Song: Bo En OMORI: Omocat Instrumental: rou Vocals: SOLARIA (SynthV Pro) Tuning/Mix/Art: VOCAlight94 +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Due to YouTube not liking me, I can no longer have external links in my video descriptions.
