End to End Master Data Management with SQL Server Master Data Services by Jeremy Kashel

Master Data Services (MDS) is a new component in the R2 release of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 that allows organisations to centrally manage data from multiple sources in order to produce a single view of cleaned and trustworthy master data. The heart of this session will be an end-to-end technical demo that will show the role of MDS in extracting master data from source systems, before demonstrating how data is fed via MDS to subscribing downstream systems. Whilst the focus of the session will be on MDS, other parts of the Microsoft BI stack will be shown, in order to demonstrate how a Microsoft MDM solution complements existing parts of SQL Server.
