This video features the original 1866 version. The score was published in 1957 by the Soviet publisher Muzgiz. Based on the standard 1874 version, it includes in footnotes the sections that were omitted during the revision process. The main changes in this revision include: corrections to the second theme of the first movement; the deletion or alteration of sections deemed redundant in the second and forth movements; and other changes to the orchestration.
