What you need to follow this tutorial: A Yo-yo: Any “responsive” yo-yo will do. Responsive means that the yo-yo comes up when you pull or tug on it. Most beginners have this type of yo-yo. **You can do these with an unresponsive yoyo (one that does not come up on its own) but you will have to know how to “bind” or wrap the string to pull it up.
