ABOUT RUTE RUTE is a vibrant alt-rock band that transforms their curiosity and love for life’s complexities into music. The band started while studying together at the Tallinn Music and Ballet School (MUBA), having one simple goal – shake up listeners to the extent of an earthquake. This four-member group of artists is exploring their journey, led by vocalist Rute Trochynskyi and brought to life by guitarist/producer Franz Königswieser, bassist Alec Aleksejev and drummer Egert Käesel. In a world full of noise, RUTE shines as an authentic musical lighthouse, reminding us that sometimes the perfect bind of raw energy with a tint of melancholy is all it takes to birth something magical. The band has been active for two years and released their debut album “LOVER” in november of 2025. So far, they have performed at Tallinn Music Week, R2 minilive, festivals Võnge, Treski Fest, and Rebasemõisa Festival, also having performed on national television multiple times and won the 2024 Student Band Competition in Tartu.
