Lighting can make or break a tiki bar and over the past 69 episodes of A Moment of Tiki I've made a number of different lights, each progressively more challenging. For someone just starting to decorate their home tiki space, this could be daunting--nobody new to this hobby wants to tackle a glass fish float or resin-and-seashell lamp right off the bat. So in this episode, I'm going zig whilst others zag and attempt to construct the simplest, most inexpensive tiki lamp possible. I start out with a bamboo wastebasket I found thrifting and after scrounging up additional bits and pieces left over from other projects, finish up with a piece I think would fit right in with pretty much anyone's tiki aesthetic. And I don't break the bank doing it. What do you think? Did I pass or fail this challenge? Let me know in the comments below! Don't forget to subscribe! Never miss an episode!
