Here is a look at a 1972 MCI U-Boat that was new, however not in its original box, when I got it. I couldn't find any information on the details of this machine online so I figured I'd do a video going over some of the intricacies of this game. U-Boat is unique and interesting. It's an electromechanical machine that allows the player to combat against warships while avoiding depth charges. It does all of this with a projector and a series of motors. It uses six solid state sound boards to produce audio and sealed relays to activate the various motors and functions of the game. U-Boat was released by MCI somewhere around 1972. MCI was founded by Dave Nutting, who is regarded as one of the pioneers of video arcade gaming.
