This is a video that I've wanted to make for a couple months but hadn't gotten to until now, which is a loop of the full 2015 Swiss Yodeler audio from the Disneyland Paris version of "it's a small world", since that years refurbishment. This was one of a few changes to the audio during that refurbishment, and is definitely one of if not my favorite of them. They did make the audio system a lot less choppy than it was before 2015, but they changed the Finale audio from the beautiful 1992 mix of several different versions, as well as really degraded the Welcome and Goodbye rooms visuals. Although I am typically a huge fan of anything in Mary Blairs classic style, I think Paris small world respectfully and tastefully made a departure on her style, while still retaining many classic scenes and the beautiful message of the ride. Unlike the 1992 Welcome/Goodbye, I think the 2015 is a much worse departure from the rest of the ride kind of like the current ones at Disneyland (1991/99-), since they don't match pretty much the entire rest of the ride. Anyway, although CA, FL, and Tokyo versions used 1964 Swiss Yodeler audio at least once in their history, because Paris has a newer soundtrack arranged by John Debney, they needed to record new Switzerland audio. In the 1992 version, there was a really nice Swiss Bells instrumentals, but unfortunately there was no Yodeler. This is one of the very few lower points of Paris 1992 small world for me, as it's pretty much one of the best small world's at any point for me, at least outside of 60's-80's CA. But thankfully?, in the 2015 refurbishment they made new Yodeler audio that replaced the 1992 Bells instrumentals. I put a question mark because I think having both the Yodeler and Bells audio would be excellent. I'm starting to be interested if there will be any audio changes in this new 2022 refurbishment. I don't except them to make any changes to this audio, but I'd be very awesome if they did, but kept this Yodeler. Also, this is not the official audio because it's never been released. I used a recreation that I believe was made by Adam, though please correct me if I am wrong. The vocals recreation was used from a 1964 recording session of the original Yodeler audio, with altered pitch for the last three verses. I then mixed that with the 1992 main theme instrumentals which have always been used all over the ride in Paris. I actually like this as well because it enhances the message of unity and there are still many other instrumentals in each and every continent played alongside it. So this is definitely one of if not the best thing to come out of the 2015 refurbishment, a pretty good audio, though I wish they still had the bells. I also realize I haven't done very many Paris videos lately, but that will change as I will give it more attention for the 30th anniversary. Though I will hold off for now on an audio mix, I will make audio recreations for each and every portion of the 1992 ride. I hope you enjoy this audio!
