The video highlights all of the sights in Makkah and Madinah. Here are the sights in order of the video: 0:37 - Jabal Al Noor (Mount Hira) – This is a climb to the top of the mountain where the Prophet (ﷺ) used to seek solace away from Makkah and this is where he received revelations. Note, that this is not a religious climb and there is not specific reward for climbing the mountain but rather to visit the site. You can take a cab to Jabal Al Noor from masjid Al Haram for about 25 SAR (£5) each way. 1:51 - Masjid Al Haraam – Courtyard 2:36 - Safwa Towers food court – Those who are staying close to the haram; I would recommend in staying in this complex which is called Safwa Towers complex. On the top floor are 3 of the following hotels; 5 star Dar AL Ghufran – Highly recommended! https://www.booking.com/hotel/sa/dar-... 5 star – Al Safwah Royale Orchid Hotelhttps://www.booking.com/hotel/sa/al-j... 5 star - Al Safwah Hotel https://www.booking.com/hotel/sa/al-s... On the second floor there are all the shops that sell abayas, thawbs and gifts etc and on the first floor you have the food courts where you will be able to find everything from fried chicken, pizza, Malaysian food to Bengali takeaways! And the price is reasonable as well. However the KFC and Burger King is located in the Clock Tower complex. And we would consider staying in this tower rather than the Clock To0wer as it is easier and quicker to get to the haram from here. 2:54 – This is the food court in the Hyatt Regency hotel in Ibrahim Khalil Road 3:15 - Masjid Al Haraam – This includes in walking via the main entrance of King Abdul Aziz gate and then walking straight into the mataaf to perform tawaf. This was during dhuhr time at the hottest time of the day and this is why there were fewer people doing tawaaf, the temperature during mid-day heat can rise to 42 degrees! 5:31 – Esha adhaan - Here, we prayed on the roof as there were no spaces on the ground or first floors. It is much more cooler during maghrib, esha and fajr and they are currently doing works to renovate the roof area. You can perform tawaf on the roof but please note the circumference is much bigger and it takes much longer to complete a circuit. 9:45 Back streets of Madinah Back streets of Madinah – this is the poorer area of Madinah where you will find all of the cheap Bengali/Pakistani restaurants and you can usually pick up a meal for 2 for about 30-40 SAR (£6-£8). This is on the north side of Masjid Nabawi and the walk was from Pullman zamzam (https://www.booking.com/hotel/sa/zamz... 11:30 – Adhaan in Masjid Nabawi. There are many doors to get into the masjid and the one door you need to find in order to do ziyarah of the Prophets grave and of Abu Bakr and Umar is a gate called “Bab Us Salaam”; you would enter via this gate. 13:30 – Masjid Quba 13:57 – Mount Uhud 14:51 – Beautiful adhaan at maghrib time in Masjid An Nabawi Click on the link below to search for hotels in Makkah and next to Masjid Al Haram https://www.booking.com/searchresults...
