There’s a big controversy about whether blowing out water lines is enough to properly winterize an RV. I made this video for RVers who are trying to figure out if this is a safe method after hearing from others that it works. As an RV tech, I’ve seen what happens when you rely only on blowing out water lines without using antifreeze. Every RV is built differently with different appliances, and even a few drops left behind can freeze and break toilet valves, faucets, pumps, or tankless water heaters. In this video, I explain why I do not use compressed air by itself, share real examples of the damage I repair every spring, and point out where water gets trapped and causes parts to fail.
