Grant Stott has been starring in panto in Edinburgh for around 20 years, give or take. A lot of that time was spent as part of the three amigos alongside Allan Stewart and Andy Gray. Grant's friendship with Andy grew over that time and together the pair embarked on their own sideline of stage shows and plays. Sadly, Andy passed away earlier this year, and now, for the first time the panto in Edinburgh, despite missing Andy for a year as he battled cancer, will open its curtains for 2021 knowing he'll never tread those boards again. In this clip from Episode 3 of The 1% Club Podcast with Neil Fachie and John Mellis, Grant explains the little rituals the three would have before the start of the panto season every year, and how, regardless of how difficult it might be, this year, like almost every other, the show must go on.
