Macular hole Surgery | This is a case of macular hole for which 25 gauge vitrectomy is being carried out.After doing core vitrectomy, triamcinolone is injected to stain the hyaloid and PVD induction is done using high suction on the cutter. Once the hyaloid is removed, Brilliant blue dye is injected to stain the ILM. Once the staining is done, ILM is gradually peeled of circumferentially around the hole. RF Massager is used to atraumatically massage the edges of the macular hole. After this air fluid exchange is carried out followed by gentle suction used over the hole to dry it.
