http://MuggyWeld.com SSQ-6 is used to solder brass to brass. SSQ-6 is an alternative to stick silver solder rods and provides the same strength and flow. The syringe comes with an applicator/needle tip that screws onto the outlet. Works with most torches. On large pieces, the SSQ-6 will need to be applied after the parent metal is at the working temperature of 1050°F. The SSQ-6 will join copper, brass, steel, bronze, stainless steel, cupronickel, cast steel, and more. Does not work on white metals. If the flux and metal filler separate while brazing you may need a hotter torch. When working with brazing pastes, reaching the solder's melting temperature quickly will prevent the paste's metals and flux from separating. Remove flux residue with warm water and a wire brush. #SilverSolder #BrassSoldering #DIYMetalwork #MetalRepair #SolderingTips #SilverSolderPaste #BrassRepair #MuggyWeld #HowToSolder #MetalCraft Caution: Do not store near edible items. If you refrigerate SSQ-6, please store in a "chemical only" designated refrigerator. 🔔 If you found this video helpful, subscribe for more practical metal repair tutorials.
