A short demo of our 1934 Martin 0-17 being played with a flat pick, and being finger-picked. Visit our website for more info and pictures! https://www.denverfolklore.com/shop/c... Description: Almost 90 years of life has made this Martin 0-17 a real stand out. You probably already know the basics; all mahogany construction, 14 fret neck, 24.875" scale with 1-3/4" nut width, comfortable single 0 sized body with scalloped X-bracing, etc. This has plenty of bluesy mid-range tone with a nice crisp top end. The neck feel is just right with the familiar 1-3/4" nut width and a slightly chunky almost V-contour to the back of the neck. It is in very good condition for its vintage. There is one repaired side crack on the treble side waist that has been glued many decades ago and is still holding strong. Additionally, it has recently undergone a neck reset and a re-fret which make this guitar play like an absolute dream. This displays typical dings and finish scrapes and scratches throughout and some capo marking on the back of the neck which has been played fairly smooth. The tuners have been replaced with Waverly Nickel open-gears, bridge pins have been replaced along the way, new frets with almost no play-wear, and a new saddle was made at the time of the neck reset (with lots of height!) Aside from that the guitar remains original, including the arched top soft shell case.
