Thanks: Avek Otomotiv https://www.avek.com.tr/ / avekotomotiv 2025 Audi A4 Starting at: $43.295 Highs: Potent optional 45 engine, intuitive technology features, optimal balance of performance and comfort. Lows: A manual transmission is not offered, not as exciting as some rivals, subdued styling. Verdict: The A4 may not be as flashy as some competitors, but it gets the fundamentals right with a blend of performance, comfort, and technology. Overview After three decades, the Audi A4 takes its final bow in 2025—sort of. Its spirit will live on in the new A5, as Audi adopts a new naming convention (even numbers for EVs and odd numbers for the final internal combustion models). In many ways, it says auf wiedersehen in much the same way it debuted: as a spritely sport compact sedan with an understated personality when compared to the more assertive BMW 3-series, the opulent Mercedes-Benz C-Class, or the brash Alfa Romeo Giulia. This positioning gives the A4 added appeal for drivers seeking this kind of middle ground, as it's entertaining on a fun road but doesn't attract as much unwanted attention. Meanwhile, its smart use of technology and high levels of comfort will appeal to shoppers of any stripe. If you have a stronger appetite for performance, the Audi S4should satisfy, and if practicality is a concern, the A4 Allroad wagon offers plenty of versatility. What's New for 2025? As the A4 prepares to drive off into the sunset, the 2025 model receives only minor changes to feature availability. Remote engine start via the myAudi app is extended to all models, while the entry-level Premium trim's Convenience package now includes rear USB charge ports. The previously optional Navigation package comes standard with the mid-range Premium Plus trim and Homelink smart home control buttons have been moved to the rearview mirror. Aesthetic revisions include black exterior trim and a new 18-inch wheel design for the 45 models along with a new S Line Plus package (black exterior trim, dark exhaust tips, 19-inch wheels, red brake calipers, leather-and-faux-suede seats, carbon fiber interior trim, and stainless-steel pedal caps) for Premium Plus and Prestige trims. Engine, Transmission, and Performance Audi offers the A4 in two strengths: 40 and 45. Both are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a 12-volt hybrid system and all-wheel drive; the 40 makes 201 horsepower, while the 45 ups the output to 261. Although we'd love a six-speed manual, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is the only transmission. Precise steering, well-controlled body motions, and strong roadholding combine to make the A4 a sharp, if not class-defining, handler. Equally as impressive is its damping, which instinctively treads the line between comfort and sharp reflexes with balanced results. Steering feel, so important in a sedan with sporting overtones, is subdued at lower speeds and on the highway. However, almost as if by magic, the steering becomes pleasantly communicative when you push the car on twisty roads. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo Like most of the current Audi lineup, the A4 blends contemporary design cues with sharp technology and quality materials to create a clean, functional upscale cabin environment. Most controls and switches are placed for easy access and operate with a satisfying tactile feel. The A4 does a commendable job of carving out passenger space from its relatively compact footprint. Rear seating is spacious, with 35.7 inches of legroom, and a standard sunroof contributes to the airy feeling. Storage bins and cubbies are on the small side, however, but the trunk offers 12 cubic feet, which is about average for the class. We managed to cram five carry-on suitcases into the trunk, and the A4's back seat folds in a useful 40/20/40 split, making it easy to accommodate longer items such as fishing poles and skis. As with many of the sedans in the entry-luxury class, the A4 is accommodating but not capacious; choose the A4 Allroad wagon if you need more plentiful cargo space.
