In this video I am demonstrating the DW Design Series Frequent Flyer Kit with a great looking White Onyx finish ply. This kit is small and compact, but delivers a big enough sound to fit in any musical setting. DW had the working drummer in mind when they built this drum kit, making it very portable but definitely not sacrificing any tone. These drums sounds great! This shell pack comes with a 10-ply 5” x 14" snare, 8" x 12" rack tom, 11" x 14" floor tom, and a 12" x 20" kick drum. All of the toms and the kick drum are eight plies. The shells are made from North American Maple and utilize DW's HVLT shell construction. The wood grains of the different plies are stacked on top of each other in a way that gives the drums their great DW sound and feel. The hardware as always is of top DW quality. The rack tom has the DW STM mounting system which connects to the lightweight ratchet bass drum mount. You get True-Pitch Tuning with the mini turret lugs, low-mass kick drum spurs, and the fantastic MAG throw-off on the snare drum. Factor in the great-looking White Onyx Finish Ply and you have one great little drum kit.
