Redness here and there Personal thoughts When I applied it on the back of the hand, I thought ‘Wow, it’s so thin and silky!’ This reminds me of Laka foundation and Giverny’s new Go Milchak Foundation. It feels more similar to Laka on the face. Please note that all three of them weren’t for me. I knew it would accentuate the dry patches if I don’t do the skincare carefully So I exfoliated and put on a face mask beforehand but it still accentuated dry patches and texture of my skin But my dry patches show if I use a brush no matter what foundation I use. So I used a flat brush that usually works well on my skin but it still accentuated the dry flakes. But it has amazing setting/lasting power that I’d mix it with other watery, hydrating foundations. If I find a good combination, I’ll let you know! The coverage is sheerer than I thought. if you want to cover your pores, use a primer. And if you want to cover your scars and blemishes, use a concealer with it. 🔍Who I recommend this I think it’s definitely designed for oily skin If you have oily skin, you have to do very intense skincare to stay hydrated. I think it’s more for summer than right now. 🔍 Comparison with other foundations. #Nars Longwear Foundation. They both have good setting power and lasting power. But the ‘thickness’ is different. Nars feels quite thick on the hand. Whereas Shu Uemura one is runny. Nars foundation can go on really thick if you are not careful Shu Uemura’s not like that! I think Shu Uemura one is easier to use than Nars foundation. #EsteeLauder Double Wear. Double Wear instantly fixes on the skin like a paint. It’s quite heavy too. Shu Uemura foundation goes on thinner and silkier. If you don’t like the thickness and heaviness of Double Wear, you might like this one better! But Double Wear works better on my skin #EsteeLauder Futurist They have completely different finish. Shu Uemura is semi matte and Futurist is glowy! #Sulwhasoo Sheer lasting. Sheer Lasting is literally ‘Sheer’ lasting. Since it’s glowy, you can create silky, tight base. Shu Uemura is thinner than Sulwhasoo. It’s also more matte. Sulwhasoo foundation was much better for me. #BobbiBrown Serum Foundation. It’s similar to Futurist. #GeorgioArmani Lasting Silk Both Lasting Silk and Unlimited are runny and silky But Lasting Silk is glowy and Unlimited is matte #GeorgioArmani Power Fabric Power Fabric is thicker and applies heavier! Shu Uemura foundation definitely goes on thinner
