The Verdict of Viktors Arājs - Late Justice for the 70,000 Souls Massacred in Latvia Viktors Arājs, a former Riga police officer and the leader of the Arājs Kommando, was one of those who helped turn Latvia into a battlefield in 1941. Synagogues were set ablaze, the “blue bus” operations led to Biķernieki, and most notably, the Rumbula massacre claimed an estimated 25,000 lives before Einsatzgruppe A advanced into Belarus. Decades later, the Hamburg court sentenced him to life imprisonment in 1979. This video recounts his rise, his crimes, and his final punishment in the history of the Third Reich — a profound lesson and a lasting warning carved into the memory of the Third Reich’s history. ⚠ Content Warning: This video is intended for educational and historical analysis only.
