Campus Living in the Past, Present, & Future

The University of Iowa has more than a century of history in its residence halls, spanning from Currier, opened in 1914, to the anticipated Elizabeth Catlett Residence Hall, opening in August 2017. The rich history of on campus living has created meaningful differences in the lives of students, including their living, dining, socializing, learning, and graduation. Dean Redington will share life lessons learned from UI students and cast a vision for the future of UI campus housing: new spaces, living learning communities, and more. This lecture is sponsored by the University of Iowa Provost's Office of Outreach & Engagement.
