「ひとひら」（鼓童提供楽曲）入部4カ月の1年生（15歳）全員の初演奏 First performance of "HITOHIRA" (Kodo piece) by all freshmen（15 years old) who have been in TAIKO club for four months. 芥川高校和太鼓部では毎年、新入部員は入部直後に発表される鼓童提供楽曲を学年の課題曲として取り組み、8月の和太鼓部定期演奏会でデビューすることになっている。 Every year, new members of the Akutagawa High School Taiko Club are required to perform a Kodo-provided piece for that year, which is provided immediately after they join the club, and make their debut at the club's regular concert in August. 鼓童から今年発表された提供楽曲は「ひとひら」で、太鼓や篠笛、琴の経験のない部員たちが4カ月で演奏できるようになるのはなかなか難しい曲。 入部してしばらくはバチを握ることもなく、筋トレに専念し、6月半ばから3年生の指導で楽譜の読み方、構え方、姿勢、打ち方を習得していく。 This year's Kodo-provided piece is "HITOHIRA", which is a difficult piece for members with no taiko and Japanese bamboo flute experience to learn in just four months. For a while after joining the club, they don't even hold the sticks, no concentrating on muscle training. From mid-June, under the guidance of third-year students, they learn how to read the score, how to standing pose, and how to beat the drum. 初めての和楽器で、初舞台。 まだリズムがしっくりかみ合っていない所もあるが、一生懸命に練習した成果を出してくれた。 これから2年半の和太鼓部の部活でどう成長してくれるか楽しみ。客席からの激励の拍手が送られた。 It was their first time playing Japanese instruments and their first performance. Although there were still some parts where the rhythm didn't quite match, they did their best and showed the results of their hard practice. We are looking forward to seeing how they will grow over the next two and a half years in the Taiko club. The audience gave them a round of applause to encourage them.
