On board a Inwood-207 Street bound R179 A train from Lefferts Blvd to Inwood-207 Street

Seen here is a ride on a A train operated with R179s bound for Inwood-207 Street. Now if you are wondering I have done something like this, yes, however that was with R46s and R160s that was running on the A. This is the first video I ever done with an R179 since it returned to full service back in September. Now I know you railfanners hate these cars because it replaced the R32s and R42s, but then again, these cars are pretty good. Yeah there have been issues with the cars when it came into service, but now it’s running more better than usual. Also, I had to stop recording at Fulton Street due to timing and There was a sick passenger at the next stop, which is why we got held down at Fulton Street, there was a sick passenger, but at least we got to 207 Street without any trouble in mind. Please Note: subway service is fully 24/7 again, but doesn’t mean you should take off your mask when riding public transportation. Always wear a mask when riding the subway or buses, be at least 6 feet from others around you, and in case you need to adjust your mask, wear gloves when adjusting. Enjoy! Date taken: June 17, 2021
