So this is my first vlog on this channel. I thought it'd be a good idea to step away from the tips and teachings from time to time to actually show you all the process and the fun in being that community poet I talk about. In my very first vlog I attended the #PoetsforPuertorico reading at the Poets House in NY (the link to their website is below.) This is a great organization I encourage anyone to go to if you are in the area, a bunch of readings, workshops, and discussions from today's premiere voices. Not to mention that they boast the largest collection of poetry books and often times you also run into other poets just hanging out. Let me know if you all like more videos like this!
