Thank you for choosing my channel. I hope you enjoy this episode. This time I am motocamping at Kroonpark. Kroonpark is situated in Kroonstad, and Kroonstad recently won the Kwêla town of the year competition for 2022. The last time I camped at Kroonpark was about 1998, and way back then Kroonpark was one of the best camping sites in the Free State. Unfortunately the local municipality didn't look after it and the camp site went from awesome to terrible over the years. Fortunately there are now private people trying to get Kroonpark back to its former glory, however there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. For now, I cannot recommend Kroonpark for long term camping. Staying over for 1 or 2 nights is fine, but it is not yet a holiday destination. I would rather book into one of their chalets, because it seems as if the chalets are being kept in a better shape than the caravan park.
