I visited my dear friend Judy Prajitno ‪@Indoakuarium‬ 's private design studio near Jakarta in Indonesia. It's not just a design studio with a fishtank, but he made a space that's right on a regular city street into a secluded rainforest! In this first impression tour video I'm thrilled to show you guys an immersive experience of the koi pond, the giant moss wall, and the now social media famous, The Habitat! With the super red asian arowanas swimming freely inside, this aquarium/pond is a monumental work that brings an entire rainforest into its design. From the live trees planted right into the aquarium to the placement of the giant boulders, every inch of this aquarium seeps the brilliant creativity of Master Judy! The fact that the aquarium is sitting outside in the elements is also just a brilliant idea, to have the plants bathe in natural sun and rain, also to have the native fish (all the major fish, arowana, yellow maru snake head and Indo datnoid are all native to Indonesia) enjoy the natural weather pattern of their natural habitat is genius! And what an apt name the setup!
