LAST EVER CrossCountry HST to depart Birmingham New Street!

Hello everyone! Today's video is a rather sad one. Today, Monday the 18th of September 2023, marks the end of CrossCountry's use of the famed Class 43 HSTs, otherwise known as the Intercity 125. They have been in service since 1967, and have lasted this far. However, due to much more modern and powerful units being used, as well as for the environmental impact, the decision has been made to withdraw these completely from the UK railway network. This means that unfortunately this sight will be no more, and quite frankly, I am honoured to have been able to witness the last ever journey. Godspeed HST! Thank you for your service!
