Friends your watercolor palette is a treasure chest of incredible pigment that should (almost) NEVER be cleaned! So in this video I encourage you to stop cleaning your watercolor palettes! I get it! There are times when your watercolor palette gets dirty, so dirty that you need to clean it up a bit...so this watercolor practice exercise is a perfect way to use up that "dirty" pigment for painting practice instead of wiping it away. Are you a watercolor beginner? Cleaning your palette is a common practice for many, so my hope is that this video will give you the beginner painting exercise you need to get comfortable with not wiping down that color on your palette!
