"Hazard" Belkuros Vs. Hammer - Monster Hunter Frontier ZZ - ベルキュロス ハンマー ソロ【MHF-Z】

Belkuros, or Berukyurosu, was among two monsters in Frontier whom almost made me quit it because of how garbage the fights were. The second one was Pariapuria. Your first Belkuros might be among the hardest monsters you'll come across playing through the game. It hits like an absolute truck, has terrible hitzones, some nasty AoEs, and is an extremely janky monster. Jank is a popular word to describe some old-gen Monster Hunter shenanigans with some monsters, but trust me when I say it is not lightly used here. Belk is genuinely janks, with some actually broken animations. Belkuros normally fight while flying a lot, adding to the difficulty of the fight. It is hard to reach, and has wind pressure. However, when they become enraged and their white fur turns orange, they finally land, at the cost of being much more aggressive and deadly. While they have amazing control of lightning, this can be exploited by hunters: if Belkuros' horn, wings and back are broken, it can lose control and hurt itself when attacking ; in fact, it's even possible for a Belkuros to kill itself when these conditions are met. The G rank fight is overall much easier to learn and can be fun. It's a shame Belk didn't get much as the game went on, as its brother Draguros received a lot more. This is an event quest submitted by Espiss on Renewal, that has you fight a Belkuros that is always enraged and hits like a train. It doesn't have much HP still though, so this was a quick run despite the gear I used.
