Dota 2 Overthrow 3.0 | Venomancer Gameplay

An extremely close game from start to finish. I think this match demonstrates Venomancer to a tee though. In regular Dota as well as in Overthrow. His damage is good. Great, even. But he just doesn't scale at all. That's not to say he's useless. His slows and damage are something. But once everyone tanks up, it's just so underwhelming. I think our poor banana man has really taken it on the chin with all the powercreep these last few years. His slinking just can't keep up. In the past I've liked running builds that emphasize running Plague Wards with mixed success. They are always annoying, so they do allow your team to control orbs really well early and into mid game. They also offer near constant slow and HP regen reduction in the late game which is acceptable utility. Here I went for a more standard magic damage build with Venomous Gale and Noxious Plague. It was fine score wise. My impact felt pretty lackluster though. Thanks for watching, friend! Good luck in your next game!
