This is the "Rapids" waterslide at Aqualand Costa Adeje, in Tenerife ESP. Despite looking like nothing much to write home about, this slide is anything but that. There are several sharp drops with huge airtime that nearly throw you out the tube and scare you to death before you slam back down onto the surface of the slide. The bumps are so jolting that the camera almost fell off my head, and the 2nd to last jump throws your head back! Although not super intense compared to some other slides, the shock you get from riding it makes you think twice about judging a book by its cover. This is by far the most deceiving waterslide out there! Unfortunately the slide has been replaced in 2025, keeping the same layout but with no dangerous jumps.
