addressing assumptions about special educational needs (my last video on speech delay)

My son has a speech delay which has put him on a special educational needs programme at school and I've found so much comfort in finding a community here who have helped me so much to normalise a big thing we've been through. There's a lot of assumptions that we hold, that I also hold and would hold, about children and families with experiences different to mine. I wanted to bring them up and address them; from my own experience, to just say how I've found parenting until now and some things and new beliefs that have got me through 4 years of speech therapy...and out the other end. Every child is an individual and every parent does their own best by them. It's just our story and how I've found a way to get through it.
